MM Studio designed the artwork and animated covers for the debut album by French trumpeter and composer Fabien Enger, released by Inner Urge Records in 2024. The graphic design concept was developed based on Inner Urge Records’ desire to clearly communicate that this is a debut album—an introduction to Fabien Enger. With this in mind, the track title “Off the Seabed” immediately emerged as the most fitting expression of the concept of “bringing out”. The connection to the seabed inspired us to think of marine creatures, specifically cetaceans, and in particular the “queen of the ocean depths”, who gently emerges from the water. The whale is also seen as a symbol capable of embracing deep emotions, while embodying communicative and creative abilities.

Lo studio MM ha realizzato la grafica e le copertine animate per l’album di debutto del trombettista e compositore francese Fabien Enger, pubblicato da Inner Urge Records nel 2024. Il concept grafico è nato dal desiderio di Inner Urge Records di comunicare chiaramente che si tratta di un album di debutto, un’introduzione a Fabien Enger. In questo contesto, il titolo del brano “Off the Seabed” si è subito rivelato il più adatto a evocare l’idea di qualcosa che affiora, che viene portato alla luce. Il richiamo al fondale marino ci ha portato a pensare agli animali marini, in particolare ai cetacei, e in modo specifico alla “regina degli abissi oceanici” che emerge delicatamente dall’acqua. La balena viene infatti considerata un simbolo capace di abbracciare emozioni profonde, oltre a rappresentare abilità comunicative e creative.
